Haiyan's Qiyuan Garden is a renowned garden

During the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty, the Feng family of Haiyan built a house and garden. The house was completed in 1870. The hall is named "Sanle," which comes from the "Mencius" chapter "Jinxin Shang": "Parents are both alive, brothers are without incident, one joy; looking up without shame to heaven, looking down without shame to people, two joys; obtaining the world's talents and educating them, three joys." Based on the remains of the Zhuyixuan and Yanyuan gardens built by the previous generations in the area, the garden was built in 1871. The garden was initially built on a small scale. The Feng family named the garden "Qiyuan" after their wife, which means "beautiful makeup box." The garden has been renovated several times and is now a national key cultural relic protection unit.
