12 minutes by tram to the "Yachigashira" tram stop
8 minutes on foot to the Shrine. Note that you must climbs stairs before reaching.

It is also near Hakodate Park.
This shrine stands in a quiet, bracing environment surrounded by the forest of Mt. Hakodate. The entrance is free and it’s open 24 hours so one can go at night .

I understand that during festivals or new year , there are grand celebration with horse riding or carrying of altar.
