Hakuryu Shrine [Hakone]

I went to Hakuryu Shrine in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture. ⛩️

The unusual white torii gate is beautiful and exudes a mystical atmosphere.

It's located in the Hakone Kuzuryu Forest!

It's about a 30-40 minute walk from Hakone-en Garden along Therapy Road. There's also a boat ride from Hakone-en Garden, available for a fee.

Rental bicycles are also available, so I recommend those.

The path along the way is quite challenging, with ups and downs. Although it's paved, walking shoes are recommended.

The Hakuryu Shrine I arrived at is the entrance to Hakone Kuzuryu, and you can visit after paying an adult entrance fee of 600 yen.
