#日韩城市景点 #日本 #外游

Owakudani is located on the northern slope of the central crater of Hakone Volcano, Guanyue, with an elevation of 800 to 1,000 meters. It is a geothermal area with frequent jets. It is the largest in Hakone and was called "Hell Valley" or "Great Hell" in the Edo period.

Ōwakudani was formed 3,000 years ago by a volcanic eruption, which brought sulfur vents and hot springs to this volcanic valley. The volcanic activity and breathtaking scenery make this one of the most beautiful places to visit in Hakone. At Owakudani you can watch geothermal eruptions and boil eggs in hot springs.

Owakudani is sometimes closed due to volcanic steam, so please check before visiting to see if it is open.
