Experience the power of nature at Hakone's famous spot, Owakudani

During my trip to Hakone, I took a drive to Owakudani 🚗

The scenery with steam rising from active volcanic activity and the smell of sulfur was like something from another world.

I decided not to take the ropeway this time because the section from Sounzan to Owakudani, which I wanted to ride the most, was undergoing inspection.

If you want to look down on Owakudani from above, be sure to check the ropeway's operation status 😣!

The specialty black eggs have a slightly different flavor than hot spring eggs, and it is said that eating them will extend your life by 7 years, so be sure to try them while you're sightseeing 🥚

The area can be a little crowded, but I enjoyed it even during the tourist season.

However, the strong sulfur smell may bother those who don't like the smell.
