The Life Hotel (Fujiya) I stayed at in Hakone

When I was hesitating among the many cookie-cutter Japanese hot spring hotels, I was instantly attracted by Fujiya's unique temperament. The personal experience is definitely more wonderful than the photos.
1. Full of the sense of time, the old money style blowing in, the materials are heavy but not old; this time I stayed in the Forest Wing, which is the newest high-rise building of the hotel near the back mountain. There is a hot spring on the top floor, overlooking the old building and the mountain view. The window view of each room in this building is the back mountain forest, and you can also see the red train shuttling through the forest;
2. Although there is no private bath, the room is connected to the hot spring, and you can soak in the bathtub by yourself; public hot springs are generally not crowded, and I prefer to go to the big bath and take a bath after soaking in it rather than in the room;
3. I can spend a whole day strolling around the public areas of the hotel, which are full of historical corridors, stairs, libraries, museums, and exquisite garden landscapes. I can also climb mountains and breathe oxygen. Hey, isn’t this swimming pool where the big guys of the Qilin Club in Fanhua hold meetings?
4. The restaurant is so beautiful that you will forget the time. It is worth it to spend three hours to finish a French meal and watch the sky slowly darken.
Next time I go to Hakone, I will choose Hotel Fujiya again!
