◼︎ Sagano Bamboo Grove Path
A 400-meter path from Nonomiya Shrine through the north gate of Tenryu-ji Temple to Okochi Sanso Villa
The bamboo grove continues on both sides of the path, making it one of Kyoto's most famous tourist attractions
In particular, the approximately 100-meter path from the north gate of Tenryu-ji Temple to Okochi Sanso Villa is lined with tall bamboo and small brushwood fences, creating a magical atmosphere
◼︎ Nonomiya Shrine
Nonomiya Shrine is located within the Sagano Bamboo Grove
The torii gate is called the "Kuroki Torii," the oldest style in Japan, made from unstripped raw oak wood
Due to the difficulty of obtaining raw oak wood, it is the only precious torii gate of its kind in Japan
The green garden, overgrown with "carpet moss," represents the scenery of Arashiyama
The white sand area represents the Katsura River, and the small bridge above it represents the Togetsukyo Bridge
