[Hakone, Kowakudani] Soba lunch in a retro Taisho era room

Soba Kihinkan
1297 Ninohira, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa 250-0407
This soba restaurant is located on the grounds of Kowakien, close to Yunessun.
The building is a nationally registered tangible cultural property, built in 1918 as an annex for Baron Fujita Heitaro.
In a room that still retains the atmosphere of the Taisho era, you can enjoy a delicious meal while looking out at the garden.
The soba was thin and chewy 28% soba.
The building also has a painting exhibition room, and from the dining room window you can see the Daimonji on the mountain.
It was a very relaxing place.
