[Nagasaki Prefecture] Learn about history at the former site of Dejima Dutch Shop!

During the isolationist period, Dejima was the only gateway between Japan and Western Europe, and played a major role in the modernization of Japan. Currently, the buildings have been restored through restoration projects, and you can experience the streetscape of Dejima at that time.
There are documents inside the restored buildings, so you can learn about what it was like at the time.
There are many spots inside the building that make you want to take photos, as if you had traveled back in time!

Take the streetcar (to Soufukuji) from JR Nagasaki Station for 5 minutes, get off at the "Dejima" tram stop, and walk for a short distance.

Information as of July 2022.
