Why You Shouldn't Miss Hakone Life Advice! At least spend two days in Hakone 😭

No wonder it's the top travel destination in Japan during autumn! I regret not doing enough research before coming here. Upon arrival, I realized Hakone has more than just autumn leaves 🍁 and hot springs ♨️. One day is definitely not enough 😭. I had to give up Izu... but I'm glad I didn't miss Hakone 😭. The view of Mount Fuji from the sea 🗻, the Hakone Open-Air Museum 🎨.

✅ Narukawa Art Museum
This is the same museum where you can go on a date with the heroine in the Japanese dating simulation game 'Tokimeki Memorial'! The scene is exactly the same! It's a childhood dream come true 😭. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows, sitting by the window drinking coffee and reading a book, framing the beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji, pirate ships, water torii gates, Lake Ashi, and the Hakone mountains, changing with the seasons! This moment is worth cherishing for a lifetime 😭.
✅ Hakone Yuryo
I didn't expect to soak in a world-class hot spring ♨️ in Hakone for less than 100 RMB. The water quality is excellent. We went at night, and it was gender-separated and fully nude. It was even more romantic with the autumn leaves around. There's also a rest area, reading area, and dining area, fully experiencing Japanese aesthetics and meticulousness. The experience was fantastic.
✅ Pirate Ship
A few hundred meters walk from Narukawa Art Museum, you can board a pirate ship that sails between several docks 🗺️, enjoying the lake's beautiful scenery. I finally fulfilled my dream of riding a pirate ship.
✅ Autumn Leaves Viewing
In the museum's courtyard, by the lake, there are breathtaking autumn leaves 🍁 everywhere. This is what I imagine autumn should look like 😭.
✅ Around Hakone-Yumoto Station, there are many cute little shops, food, souvenirs, and trinkets. I could spend a whole day just wandering around.
✅ Taking the Hakone Tozan Bus from Hakone-Yumoto to Hakone-machi Port, there are about a dozen or twenty stops. Almost every stop has something to explore, like museums, art exhibitions, hiking trails, and small shops. It's so exciting. I'll save this for a deeper exploration next time 😭
