[Hakone] The Beautiful World of Glass 🫧 Glass Forest Museum

Hakone Glass Forest Museum is a museum specializing in Venetian glass, blending seamlessly into the natural surroundings of Sengokuhara.
Enjoy a carefully selected collection of approximately 100 pieces, ranging from masterpieces from the Golden Age of Venetian glass in the 15th and 16th centuries to ancient and 19th-20th-century glass art.

The gardens are a dazzling display of seasonal flowers and glass artworks. When I visited in November, the scenery was lavish and beautiful, with autumn leaves, Japanese pampas grass, and even Christmas trees.

The museum also boasts a well-equipped shop and hands-on workshop.
With reasonable access and admission fees, this is a recommended highlight of your Hakone sightseeing trip.
