Hydrangea Garden

Glass is not the only attraction at the Hakone Glass Forest Museum.

In 1999, the hydrangea garden was completed with the cooperation of the Kanagawa Prefectural Hiratsuka Agricultural High School Agricultural Club Floriculture Group.

From May to August, you can enjoy 4,500 hydrangeas of about 70 varieties on a 1,350 square meter site.

When hydrangeas come into season, seasonal
◎ Sandblasting Experience Workshop (An experience of making your own original glass by applying patterns to glass with sand)
◎ Fusing Experience Workshop (An experience of making original accessories by melting and solidifying various types of glass with heat)
Hydrangea patterns and motifs will be added to these two experience courses.
