Stylish Accommodation Surrounded by Nature

If you're looking for a stylish accommodation, this is the place to go.
Surrounded by a forest, the area is rich in nature.
You can reach the hotel by taking a bus from Hakone-Yumoto Station and getting off at the Glass Forest Museum stop, followed by a 15-minute walk.
The slope leading to the front desk might be a bit challenging if you're carrying a suitcase. Although there seems to be a shuttle service, I took a taxi and was dropped off near the front desk.

The room was more spacious than expected and had a clean atmosphere. Since the flooring was wooden, there was no concern about dustiness.
However, the bedroom carpet seemed to have a slight lingering smell of daily use.
The pillows were fluffy and comfortable!

Being surrounded by nature, there were quite a few insects (mainly spiders and moths), and some managed to get into the room. Fortunately, the staff promptly dealt with them, which was reassuring.
In the onsen changing area, there were also several insects, including large spiders, which might be tough for those who dislike bugs.
Even in the large communal bath, I encountered a big insect, which was surprising.
That said, I appreciated the amenities provided, especially the Osaji products with their soothing herbal scent.
They even provided black hair ties, which were handy in case you forgot yours for the bath.

Other delightful touches included receiving retreat socks as a gift, unlimited candy ice cream, and free access to tea and coffee as much as you like.

There were many foreign guests, so it seemed to cater to inbound tourism. Of course, there were plenty of Japanese guests as well, so it wasn't an issue.
Breakfast was beautifully presented, and the chef-prepared scrambled eggs were incredibly delicious.
I also ordered a whole chocolate cake, which had a generous amount of cream. It was mildly sweet and easy to finish—it was delicious!
This is a hotel I would love to visit again.
