Affordable Hakone Hot Springs Hotel

[Hakone, Japan] I spent three days and two nights in Hakone, staying in two hot spring hotels. One night I stayed at the conveniently located Mori Gora Onsen Hotel.

I went in mid-October, and a night with two meals for two people cost about HKD 1400, which is very affordable for the Gora area! Each group received a free kirifuro (hot spring bath), but unfortunately, it was just an indoor bathtub with no view. ☹️ Also, there were no bathrooms in the rooms, which was a bit inconvenient. 🤔

However, the hotel had its advantages. Since it's small, with only 10 rooms, there were no tour groups to worry about. The place was clean and the sleep was comfortable. For the price, I think it was a great value. ☺️
