Handan: A city with 3,000 years of history, Handan Museum.

I've been looking forward to visiting the Handan Museum for a long time. The last time I came, it was to the old museum opposite Congtai Park. The exhibition level of the new museum is indeed good, and it is now a national first-class museum.

The museum focuses on the "Gandan" demeanor and the Handan History Exhibition. Most of the treasures of the museum are displayed here. Let me briefly introduce a few of them.

· The gilded silver Chengyu Dajue wine vessel from the Eastern Han Dynasty is a royal masterpiece made by the Xigong workshop in the Shu region. The whole body is silver-plated, and the decorations are gilded. It is a treasure of the museum and a first-class cultural relic.

· The bronze horse from the Warring States Period is one of the symbols of the museum. It is the earliest realistic bronze horse in China and a national first-class cultural relic.

· The openwork Chi dragon pattern gold medal ornament from the Warring States Period is the prototype of the museum emblem. It integrates the Central Plains agricultural civilization and the northern nomadic cultural elements. It is a fine gold ware of pre-Qin costumes and a national first-class cultural relic.

· The gilded bronze inlaid jade three-dragon ornament from the Warring States Period. The sword head is composed of three parts: a gilded bronze dragon, a tiger, and a jade dragon. The craftsmanship is exquisite and the shape is beautiful. It is a national first-class cultural relic.

· The agate belt hook from the Warring States Period is carved from a whole piece of agate. It is a fine jade belt hook from the Warring States Period and a national first-class cultural relic.

There are also stone carving exhibitions, a special exhibition of Cizhou Kiln, and other content worth seeing. If you have time, I recommend renting a guide to stroll around slowly.

The museum is open to the public for free and is closed on Mondays. The tour time is about 2–3 hours. Opposite the museum is Meile City, which is convenient for eating and shopping.
