🌟Highlights: Around 1600 BCE, the Shang Dynasty was established. During the late Shang Dynasty, King Pan Geng moved the capital to Yin, and Handan became part of the royal domain. According to the "Bamboo Annals," "From Pan Geng's relocation to Yin until the fall of King Zhou, 253 years passed without further capital relocations. During King Zhou's reign, the city expanded, with royal villas stretching from Chaoge in the south to Shaqiu of Handan in the north." The Zhao Kiln ruins in Wu'an represent the main archaeological remains from this Shang Dynasty period.
