The secret spot at the foot of Huangshan that's got everyone talking! Complete guide to playing in Emerald Valley's waters

My friends all asked if I went to Jiuzhaigou when they saw my photos! Actually, this is Emerald Valley at the foot of Huangshan!! Fewer people, beautiful scenery, and cool temperatures—it's the ultimate summer escape~

As soon as you enter, you're surrounded by bamboo forests all over the valley. The sound of the babbling creek instantly washes away the fatigue from climbing Huangshan. Walking upstream along the creek, every pool holds a surprise.

My favorite is the emerald-like water color!! Sunlight filters through the bamboo and shines on the water surface, sparkling like scattered diamonds. The water is so clear you can see the little fish swimming. I couldn’t help but take off my shoes and socks to soak my feet. The icy spring water instantly healed my feet after three days of walking nonstop.

Rainbow Bridge is absolutely stunning for photos!! Standing on the bridge, you can overlook the entire Emerald Pool. Wearing a flowing long dress and snapping a casual photo, my friends all said I looked like a little fairy in the forest.

The hiking trail is super family-friendly for those with kids. The whole route is gentle and not tiring. I saw many children picking up stones and skipping them on the water’s edge. Their laughter echoed beautifully through the valley.

I’m willing to call this place the biggest hidden gem of the Huangshan trip. Fewer people than the main scenic spots, quieter than Hongcun. Next time, I definitely want to spend a whole day here!!
