Hefang Street: Where Culture meets history ✨

#visithangzhou The street was built during the Southern Song Dynasty, a time when Hangzhou was the capital of Zhejiang Province.

The street is a popular attraction in Hangzhou filled with shops offering traditional snacks and food 🍜 as well as the famous Longjing tea 🍵 . This is also the perfect place to shop for Chinese style gifts 🪭 and souvenirs 🎐

It’s also a beautiful place for gazing at artisans at work with various types of traditional Chinese handicrafts 🖌️ such as calligraphy, paper cutting, painting 🖼️

Hefang street is also home to so many coffee shops ☕️ which are great spots to take a break from walking around. I also recommend checking out Hu Qing Tang, the biggest TCM pharmacy established since 1987 🫚
