Leifeng Pagoda - Legend of the Right Snake Queen

Leifeng Temple or Leifeng Pagoda is a place that anyone who visits Hangzhou must visit at least once. The pagoda is located on a hill near the West River. You can see the sunset all around. The atmosphere is very good.

The pagoda that you see is a new construction covering the ruins of an old pagoda that has collapsed. But you can still see the base of the old pagoda from inside.

You can go up to see the view from the top by taking the stairs or the elevator, but you may have to wait a bit.

Inside, there are carvings telling the story of the White Snake Lady (I recommend watching the movie first to understand it).

How to get there: From Longxiangqiao Ext.4 Station, take bus number 4 and get off at LeiFeng Pagoda (5Y)
