In the rainy season, lonely people take a boat to the island in the middle of West Lake.

The rain continued to fall without stopping. After visiting Leifeng Temple, we walked a little further and reached the pier. Around the lake, there are private rowboats and medium and large engine boats with dining tables, depending on what you choose. We chose the medium-sized boat. The round trip price was 55 yuan per person and the ride took about 15 minutes.

The island in the middle of West Lake has another layer of lake inside. The atmosphere inside the island is full of trees, shady and suitable for walking around the garden.

The highlight here is the three stone pagodas, which are lanterns in the middle of the water. They are the images on the 1 yuan banknotes. They are very beautiful.
