🏖️Overview:
Tsukugatake is a mountain located in Matsusaka City, Mie Prefecture, with an altitude of 1,029m. It is one of the Ise Sanzan mountains, and is also called Ise no Yarigatake because of its sharp shape ⛰️. The summit has a good observation deck 🏬, so you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Ise Bay, Sewa and the mountains of the Daigyo Mountains.
💞Reasons why we recommend it:
The parking lot 🅿️ is spacious. Despite it being a sunny Sunday ☀️, we only spoke to one person who had climbed from the Mie Prefecture side at the summit 🗣️
It was almost a private place. The mountain trail had a clear uphill ⤴️ and downhill ⤵️, and the 🌲 trees had been thinned out, so it was easy to climb, although the climb was steep. We ate 🍝 at the summit with a view 🙆♂️. You can't expect any other views 👀.
📍Location:
Miyamae, Iitaka-cho, Matsusaka City, Mie Prefecture
📍Access:
🚞Train: Take Mie Kotsu bus from Kintetsu JR Matsusaka Station
Get off at Horide. It's about a 40-minute walk to the trailhead.
🚙Car: Take National Route 166 from Matsusaka IC on the Ise Expressway for about 50 minutes
※90 minutes from the trailhead to the summit
