Jingci Temple

Before visiting Leifeng Tower, come to Jingci Temple, this place situate just opposite the tower.


Jingci Temple has a rich history, dating back to the 10th century during the Southern Tang Dynasty. It was originally built to honor the famous Buddhist monk Yue Fei, whose tomb is located nearby. Over the centuries, the temple has undergone several renovations, but its timeless beauty and spiritual essence have remained unchanged.


Go up to the main hall you will see Leifeng Tower on the opposite site.
