Hangzhou, a city renowned for its poetic charm since ancient times, always leaves visitors longing for more. On this trip to Hangzhou, I chose a route filled with ancient charm.
**The Serene Ancient Style Under Leifeng Pagoda**
In the early morning, West Lake is shrouded in mist, and Leifeng Pagoda looms faintly in the morning light, like an ink painting. I donned a simple Hanfu, held a round fan, and strolled under Leifeng Pagoda. The pagoda's reflection on the lake, with ripples stirred by the breeze, seemed to transcend a thousand years. The photographer captured this moment of serenity and solitude, as if narrating the tragic love story of Lady White Snake and Xu Xian.
**Praying at Lingyin Temple**
I arrived at the bustling Lingyin Temple. The temple, built against the mountain, is surrounded by towering ancient trees, and the sound of Buddhist chants fills the air, inspiring awe. I sincerely burned incense and prayed for my family's health and safety, and made a wish for myself. The melodious sound of the temple bell seemed to cleanse the soul, bringing a sense of peace and tranquility.
**Brewing Tea by the Hearth on Xiaochezhi Street**
In the evening, I visited Xiaochezhi Street, full of local flavor. The stone-paved paths are lined with quaint shops, teahouses, taverns, and snack stalls. I chose a rustic teahouse, sat by the charcoal fire, and brewed a pot of Longjing tea. The fragrance of the tea filled the air, refreshing the mind. Outside the window, the sun set, and the lanterns along the street gradually lit up, adding warmth and romance to the ancient city.
