📍Location: Close to the Su Causeway side of West Lake, about 3 km away—perfect for a bike ride.
1.2 km from the subway station;
Approx. 40 minutes from Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport;
The hotel has parking spaces—self-driving guests can inquire in advance.
🏨 Hotel:
Originally a villa purchased by a Catholic priest in 1934, the hotel is listed on Hangzhou’s historical architecture preservation register.
The main building consists of three Republic of China-era structures.
Surrounded by forests, an infinity pool, a restaurant, and more, the design features winding paths and excellent privacy.
🌴 Environment:
Located in the Hupao section of West Lake’s core scenic area, the hotel is lush with greenery. At first, I couldn’t believe such a prime location could have such expansive green spaces—right next to Jiangyangfan Park.
The building’s exterior has a unique, time-worn beauty, preserving the charm of Republic of China-era architecture. The blue bricks have been maintained, and the rooms are exceptionally bright, likely due to the Western-style villa structure, with oversized floor-to-ceiling windows.
🛏️ Room:
There are over 20 rooms, ranging from 45–60 sqm.
We stayed on the third floor of the main building, with sloped ceilings—especially beautiful in the bathroom, making me feel like a young lady from the Republic era.
The sloped walls are lined with windows, flooding the room with natural light. In the afternoon, sunlight streams onto the bathtub, creating a stunning effect. The electric curtains are a must—remember to close them at night. This was the quietest hotel I’ve slept in recently.
