Hangzhou | First Impressions of Park Hyatt 🫧

Booked on the day of check-in and didn’t notice it was a twin room. At check-in, I was told the king room was sold out for the day, and there was no upgrade or anything, so I stayed in a twin room.
The room has only been around for a short time, but there are quite a few signs of wear, like the sink, throw pillows, and edges of the mirror. What affects the appearance the most is the clump of sheer curtain fabric hanging down after being pulled up; it feels like it could be tidied up. As for facilities, there’s a Bluetooth speaker with fixed volume, not very loud. I forgot to use the screen casting, so not sure if it works. The overall decor feels like a mix of Shenzhen Park Hyatt and Hefei Grand Hyatt (though Hangzhou Park Hyatt opened earlier), nothing particularly memorable.
Service was nothing special, since it was a brief stay. From the brief interaction, it felt less warm than Shenzhen Park Hyatt. But I have to emphasize again that the service at Yue Xuan is absolutely 👏 amazing 👏.
Overall, an average experience. Next time I go to Hangzhou, I’ll probably try a different hotel~
