Turning 40 doesn’t mean the absence of confusion, but learning to coexist with it—a healing escape in Hangzhou

On an ordinary day, I insist on booking a night at a hotel for myself. I've always loved the energy of West Lake and regularly want to go there for a short stay to recharge~ The hotel is super convenient, just a 2-minute walk to the edge of West Lake, so I don’t have to rush to watch the sunset or wait for the sunrise 🌇
Breakfast and dinner are all buffet style, so I can eat whatever I want, whenever I want, without having to accommodate anyone else’s tastes ⏰ In the afternoon, I sit by the window, slowly sipping tea while facing West Lake, clearing my mind and relaxing 🍵
During this one day and night, everything I do revolves around “what I want to do.” No thinking, no catering, no compromising—time seems to stretch out long and slow. In this brief little world that belongs to me alone, it’s just me, enjoying my exclusive time without any worries ✨
It turns out that learning to do nothing is also a very important practice in life~
