Hangzhou is both a representat

Hangzhou is both a representative of Neo-Chinese aesthetics and a tranquil guardian of the Jiangnan water towns. This trip to Hangzhou wasn't just about wandering through the bustling crowds of Lingyin Temple and Wuzhen; it also allowed me to deeply experience the serene side of classical Hangzhou. A slow walk along the riverbank revealed a poetic scene: ancient bridges and stone shadows reflected in the clear water. The verdant trees and pink blossoms beside the bridges instantly transported me to a Jiangnan fairyland. Hangzhou boasts an incredibly diverse culinary scene, from street food to elegant teahouse banquets, offering delightful surprises. I highly recommend setting aside time to sample the various local delicacies!

🌉Attraction Recommendations:

1. Wuzhen As one of the six ancient towns of Jiangnan, Wuzhen is renowned for its elegant waterways, ancient bridges, and cobblestone streets. Although it attracts many tourists, after navigating the throngs, you can still find quiet corners surrounded by green peonies and pink flowers. The best highlight is sitting in a riverside cafe, basking in the sun and watching people and boats come and go on the water – pure bliss!

2. Lingyin Temple
Lingyin Temple, steeped in Buddhist Zen, is a must-visit in Hangzhou. Ancient trees and vines line both sides of the path, creating a serene atmosphere even in light rain.

If you're looking for classical aesthetics, take a stroll along the Southern Song Imperial Street. It preserves many ancient Ming and Qing dynasty buildings. At night, the illuminated stone arch bridges and their reflections in the river create a scene reminiscent of a traditional Chinese ink painting. The various snack stalls and teahouses lining both sides of the street create a truly authentic Hangzhou atmosphere.

4. West Lake
The soul of Hangzhou, how could you miss it! Stroll along the Su Causeway, gaze at the Broken Bridge, take a boat trip on the lake, and admire the ancient bridge that quietly spans the water, its surface reflecting the shimmering flowers. If the weather is clear, we recommend visiting in the evening; the gentle glow of the sunset over West Lake will soothe all your worries.

🍜Hangzhou Food Recommendations
Don't miss the local signature dishes when you come to Hangzhou. The stalls around Southern Song Imperial Street, selling dishes like braised duck, Dongpo pork, and Longjing shrimp, are all worth trying for their authentic flavors. There are many popular teahouses along West Lake, such as the upscale "Lakeside 28" restaurant, perfect for celebrations or gatherings with friends. If you're short on time, try the xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) or beef noodles at Zhiweiguan – pure bliss!
