The approach leading from the gate with its Nio statues to the temple grounds is a sight to behold!
It is located at the southern foot of Mt. Tenran.

It's also famous as a filming location for the TV drama "Yamabi."

The pond-themed Horai Garden, which utilizes the slopes of Mount Tenran, is approximately 1,000 square meters of gardens filled with seasonal flowers, including azaleas and sasanquas. It's been selected as one of Japan's 100 most famous gardens.

The bamboo grove in front of the main hall is also spectacular.
