One of the most exciting and unique spots in Hanoi has to be Train Street! Tucked between narrow alleys, this lively street is famous for the train that passes just inches away from cafés and houses—a must-see for any traveler!

We arrived early to grab a seat at one of the cozy trackside cafés, where we enjoyed a cup of traditional egg coffee while waiting for the train. As the time approached, the atmosphere became electric—locals and tourists lined the tracks, cameras ready. Then, out of nowhere, the train roared through, just a few feet away from where we were sitting! The rush of wind and the sheer closeness of the train made it an unforgettable experience.

While some sections of Train Street have restrictions, many cafés still offer access—just check ahead and follow the rules. If you’re in Hanoi, don’t miss this thrilling and iconic experience!
