How can you come to Hanoi, Vietnam, and not experience wearing an Ao Dai?
This is my second time taking photos in an Ao Dai.
Vietnamese traditional costumes can be so ethereal!
This time, I unlocked two Ao Dai aesthetics.📿
The pearl-studded version felt like traveling back to the Nguyen Dynasty court.
The plain silk one with ribbons made a wind chime sound as I walked.🎐
Even the local aunties gave me a thumbs-up and said "đẹp lắm" (very beautiful).
The Vietnam Fine Arts Museum is a must-see‼️
See 3,000 years of civilization for just 12 yuan.⚱️
The bronze ware exhibition hall is like opening Pandora's Box.
The light and shadow on the spiral staircase made the Ao Dai look luminous.💫
(Secretly copying the poses of the schoolgirls next to me was super helpful.)
The red walls of the Temple of Literature are divine for photos.📸
I stumbled upon a group of girls in Ao Dais taking graduation photos.
When asked for a photo together, I pretended to be a real Vietnamese girl.😝
The streets of Hanoi are hidden photo spots.🌆
I bought a baguette in my Ao Dai and the grandma at the coffee stall gave me a small gift.
A cyclo driver took the initiative to call out "Beautiful!" in broken Chinese.
Tips🔖
▫️Choose matte pearl shades for your makeup.
▫️Apply mosquito repellent beforehand! The slits in the Ao Dai are a mosquito buffet.
▫️Street scenes in the evening have a built-in soft light filter.🌇
The moment the wind blew through the slits of the Ao Dai,
I suddenly understood the romance deep within Vietnam's soul.🍃
