Biwako Valley in Shiga Prefecture is one of the most popular tourist spots in the prefecture. The spectacular view from the summit at an altitude of 1,100m is a sight you should see at least once. If you purchase tickets online in advance, you can get a discount of up to 1,500 yen (about 40%) per person for 2,000 yen. Don't worry if you're unsure whether to go depending on the weather! If you purchase by midnight the day before, you will be eligible. There is no need to exchange tickets, so you can head to the ropeway station smoothly.
