Stylish cocktail bar tucked away on the second floor of a Michelin-starred restaurant in Hanoi

Nestled above the Etēsia restaurant on Lò Sũ Street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, Bo / En Gin Cocktail Parlour offers a captivating blend of mixology and museum-like ambiance. This speakeasy-style bar draws inspiration from natural history museums, featuring rare butterfly and herb specimens that adorn its walls, creating a unique and immersive atmosphere.

The cocktail menu is impressive. I went for one of their gin-based signatures (Japan inspired cocktails), and it was beautifully balanced and thoughtfully presented. You can tell the bartender is passionate about their craft, super knowledgeable, yet down-to-earth and welcoming. Perfect for a date night or a quiet escape from the city buzz.
