So, I just got back from sailing on Celebrity Equinox, and wow—this ship is like a chill-but-luxe beach club that magically transports you to new ports. No over-the-top gimmicks, just good vibes, great food, and those oh wow ocean views that make you forget your inbox exists.
First Impressions: "Okay, This is My Life Now"
Walking into the Grand Foyer, I was greeted by live acoustic music, sparkling chandeliers, and the smell of fresh coffee from Café al Bacio. The whole ship has this modern-yet-cozy feel—like a boutique hotel, but with endless buffets and a casino. (Priorities, right?)
The "This is Why I Cruise" Moment 🌊
The Sunset Bar at the back of the ship. Picture this: comfy couches, live guitar music, and cocktails served with a side of golden-hour views. I may or may not have teared up a little. (Blame the margarita.)
Hidden Gem: The Solarium 🌿
While everyone crowds the main pool, the adults-only Solarium is a quiet, glass-covered oasis with heated loungers, a saltwater pool, and zero chaos. Perfect for:
Reading that book you’ve been ignoring
Pretending you’re in a high-end spa
Foodie Heaven: Where to Eat (and Eat Some More)
Silk Harvest: The spicy tuna crispy rice is stupidly good.
Tuscan Grille: Order the mushroom risotto—you’ll dream about it later.
Oceanview Café: 24/7 pizza and actual gelato. 🍕
Quick & Easy Itinerary ⏳
⏰ 3PM: Board + explore (don’t miss the Martini Bar’s ice-topped counter).
⏰ 6PM: Sunset drinks at the Sunset Bar (duh).
⏰ 8PM: Dinner at Murano (get the lobster and the chocolate soufflé).
⏰ 10PM: Silent disco at Quasar (because why not?).
Pro Tips 💡
✔️ Bring a reusable water bottle—hydration is key between cocktails.
✔️ Check the daily schedule for live glassblowing shows (yes, really!).
✔️ The Solarium is free—unlike some other ships’ spa areas.
Final Thought: This ship is laid-back luxury at its finest. No flashy tech, no pressure—just great food, chill vibes, and ocean views for days. I left well-fed and totally relaxed.
