This summer, I went on a budget trip to Hanoi and visited the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. The entrance fee was very reasonable, making it a perfect stop for budget travelers. The museum offers an incredible insight into the culture and traditions of Vietnam’s many ethnic groups. I was impressed by the detailed displays of traditional clothing, tools, crafts, and daily life objects. Each exhibit tells the story of Vietnam’s rich and diverse heritage. The outdoor area was equally fascinating, with full-scale traditional houses that you can walk through and explore. I spent a few hours there, learning and enjoying every moment. It’s a peaceful, educational, and well-organized place. If you’re visiting Hanoi, this museum is highly recommended and worth your time!
