This summer, I went on a budget trip to Hanoi and checked out the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology—it was such a great experience! The entrance fee was affordable, and the museum was totally worth it. It’s a cool spot to learn about the different ethnic groups in Vietnam, not just from Hanoi but all over the country. The indoor exhibits were full of traditional clothes, tools, and daily life stuff, while the outdoor area had full-sized traditional houses you could walk through. Everything was super informative but also really fun to explore. I spent a few hours there just soaking it all in. If you’re in Hanoi and want to understand local culture better, this museum is a must. Highly recommended!
