Hanoi InterContinental Westlake Hotel

We booked this InterContinental Hotel three months in advance. Initially, we were debating between this one by Westlake and another high-rise InterContinental. Ultimately, we chose this one because of its unique overwater rooms by the lake. Although the location isn't the most convenient and requires navigating through a small road to get there, the experience from the lobby to the room via a shuttle feels like entering another world. The overwater rooms are truly amazing, each featuring a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the lake view (though it can get a bit hot, haha). In the evening, we visited the bar to enjoy the nighttime view of Westlake, ordering two beers, one juice, and a portion of fries for 650,000 VND. Considering it's a bar in a five-star hotel, the price is reasonable. Overall, the environment is great, the scenery is beautiful, and the staff are courteous. Highly recommended! 👍
