Hanoi Garden Restaurant

This Michelin-recommended restaurant is a Vietnamese-Chinese fusion restaurant housed in a colonial-style building with both outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating feels like dining in a courtyard. The decor is spotlessly white and clean, and the menu is in both Vietnamese and English. Three of us ordered three dishes, and both meats were generously portioned.

Roasted Beef in Bamboo Stalk
Each cut of beef was generously sized and marinated beautifully.

House Special Nem Platter
This was a Vietnamese spring roll platter with three different spring rolls: a raw spring roll, a fried traditional spring roll, and a fried seafood spring roll. All tasted ordinary, but the fried seafood spring roll was surprisingly filling, with seafood dipped in salad dressing. I personally loved it that way.

Roasted Duck and Fried Buns
This dish was roasted duck and fried buns. The roasted duck was tender and had no fishy smell, and it was paired with the fried buns.

Afterwards, we felt like we were enjoying Chinese cuisine, and the portions were generous, leaving us feeling very full.

Price: Three courses, approximately NT$874.
