พิพิธภัณฑ์เล็กๆ ใน Kawagoe - Little Edo

🎎 Kawagoe Matsuri Kaikan – A Historical Festival Museum in Little Edo

Kawagoe, a small city near Tokyo, is a great day trip destination. Known as "Little Edo," the charming old town is a must-see.

📍One of the city's highlights is the Kawagoe Matsuri Kaikan, or Kawagoe Festival Museum.

🏮 Inside the Kawagoe Matsuri Kaikan Museum,
Once you enter, you'll see the actual floats used in the festival. They're large and exquisite.
- The nighttime performances, featuring music and lights, make you feel like you're actually there.
- The traditional costumes and parade equipment.
- There's a corner where you can watch behind-the-scenes videos of the event and the craftsmanship of local craftsmen.

✨ When we arrived, we were lucky enough to have a staff member available to explain things to us. The staff spoke English, but their Japanese accent was a bit difficult to understand. But the atmosphere is great.
