Presidential Palace

The Hanoi Presidential Palace was built between 1900 and 1906 by French architect Auguste Henri Vildieu as the residence of the Governor-General of French Indochina.
The building is striking in its Beaux-Arts/Italian Renaissance European style, with its distinctive mustard yellow color.
While the main building is closed to the public, visitors can stroll around the courtyard in front, encompassing "Mango Alley" and the wooden houses within the compound.
