Back from Gulu Village📍Cost per person: over 100. I went with my bestie and we were exhausted!

Drive: 2–3 hrs from Chengdu. All expressway, road conditions are good.
Food: There are snack stalls near the parking lot, and snacks and farm-style restaurants along the hiking trail. Drinks are also sold along the way, but they are more expensive than at the foot of the mountain.

✅[About the hike]
1. Cable car (end point): One way is 4.5 km. With photo stops and breaks, a round trip takes about 4 hrs. We went down after reaching this point because we were so tired!!!
2. Viewing platform (end point): One way is 6.5 km. With photo stops and breaks, a round trip takes about 5 hrs.

👇Trail conditions: Cliffside steps. The path is relatively wide, but it can be dangerous when crowded, as some sections have no railings. There are signs along the climbing route, so you won't get lost.
🌟🌟Key points!! Things to prepare:
1. On sunny days, wear sunscreen. The UV rays are strong, and you can easily get sunburned in strong sunlight.
2. Going uphill is tiring, and going up and down is hard on the knees. Hiking poles are recommended (personal experience). Your legs will hurt the next day.
3. It's very windy in the canyon. Wear a jacket and a hat, and be careful not to let the wind blow your hat away.
4. Be sure to wear non-slip shoes. The stone path is slippery, and it's easy to fall.
5. There are several caves along the hiking trail that are great for taking photos. You don't have to wait in line at one cave for a photo op.

✅3. Tongxin Bridge: An iron chain bridge connecting the two sides of the canyon. Hanging over Jinkouhe, it offers breathtaking views of the grand canyon.
