Harbin in 1 Day
I believe that the familiar image of this city is the atmosphere of thick snow and freezing temperatures. But let's explore it briefly in late autumn (late October).
We spent only 1 day here, so we focused on walking around the city, stopping by the market to look at products, and going on and on. In late October, the weather was nice ~ 3-4 °C, which was bearable.
Where did you go in one day?
1) 🕍 St. Sophia Cathedral (圣索菲亚教堂)
- A Russian-style church, it is considered another landmark of Harbin.
- I personally like the atmosphere here a lot. Daytime and nighttime are beautiful in different ways.
- In addition to the church, there are many beautiful and cool photo spots around the area. Those who like taking pictures should like it.
- Next to the church, there is a clothing store, winter equipment, very cheap prices. There is also an underground store with a lot of stuff. It's fun to walk around and explore. Excited by the price
Travel: Take a leisurely walk from Zhongyang Street or Metro Line 2, Shangzhi Street
2) 🛍️🍪 Zhongyang Street (中央大街)
- Shopping street in the center of Harbin, both sides of the road are full of shops, very lively people
- This street is a leisurely walk, going all the way to the Songhua River (松花江)
- Travel: Metro Line 2, Zhongyang Street
3) 🚤⚓ Along the Songhua River (松花江)
- Take a walk along the river, sit and eat snacks, drink bubble tea, the cold wind blows on your face, it's so chill
- While walking, stop by to say hello to people who are fishing, the people here are lovely Very friendly
4) 🏘️🏤 Chinese Baroque Street (中华巴洛克风情街)
- Old Baroque-Chinese style building area, with many shops, restaurants, and beautiful photo spots
- Travel: Metro Line 3, Chinese-Barouqe Block
5) 🌳🌲🎪 There are still many more places to visit. I'll have to come back and visit them all, such as Sun Islands, Russian Village, and many more.
