Short Trip to Harbin Central Street

#chinatravel You have heard of Russian nesting dolls also known as Matryoshka dolls but have you come across large sized ones ?

Impulse decision to fly over to Harbin in April and bought my round trip tickets from Trip.com and was very delighted to be able to book my flights on China Airlines / Shenzhen Airlines at a great price , albeit having to transit in Beijing (to) and Shenzhen (back) of course.

Cost of short notice flight booking only $333.50 on Trip ! Damn worth it !

Stayed at Central Street (Zhongyang Pedestrian Street 中央大街). As Harbin has strong historical ties with Russia, it's very common to see Russian dolls prominently displayed everywhere along this street, outside malls, in front of cafes and even inside !

Russian dolls are also available for sale in a much smaller souvenir size too ! Bring some back as souvenirs.

Loving the vibes when strolling along this pedestrian street and there's really a lot of IG worthy spots where you can happily snap away like the famous Russian store and the iconic gate !
