Hat Yai is known for its local cuisine and temples during the day, but it transforms into a city with a different charm at night. This time, I visited Maribu Cafe & Bar.

Maribu Cafe & Bar is conveniently located in the heart of Hat Yai, making it easy to reach from nearby hotels. It’s just a 5–10 minute ride by taxi or Grab, offering great accessibility.

🍸 Atmosphere
The first thing that caught my eye was the stylish interior. Warm lighting, palm tree decorations, and rattan chairs created a slightly exotic resort vibe in the middle of the city. The music was a mix of lively pop songs and lounge tunes, perfect for chatting with friends while enjoying the ambiance.

🥗 Menu
The cocktail menu was quite diverse, ranging from classics like Mojitos and Piña Coladas to unique signature cocktails crafted by the bar. I opted for a refreshing lime-infused cocktail, which was light and easy to enjoy. The food selection included tapas-style snacks and Thai dishes, with the chicken wings pairing particularly well with beer.

💰 Price Range
Cocktails were priced at around 200–300 baht per glass, while beer was slightly cheaper. Although it’s a bit pricier than typical local bars in Hat Yai, the atmosphere and service made it worth the cost.
