Tourist Spot: Miyajima

Miyajima (Itsukushima) is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan and is located in Hiroshima Prefecture! It is famous for its beautiful nature and historical shrines!

Itsukushima Shrine ⛩️
It features a large vermilion-painted torii gate that appears to float on the sea!
It floats on the sea at high tide, and you can walk close to it at low tide!
It is registered as a World Cultural Heritage site.

Nature 🌿
The cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn leaves in autumn are beautiful! There is a mountain called Mt. Misen, and you can enjoy the spectacular view from the top by taking a ropeway or hiking!

Deer 🦌
Deer roam freely on Miyajima and can interact with tourists. Deer are cherished as messengers of the gods.
