【Symbol of Hiroshima】Miyajima

Miyajima is a must-visit destination when exploring Hiroshima, especially the iconic Itsukushima Shrine⛩️.
Another highlight of Miyajima is the grand torii gate⛩️, located about 200 meters offshore from the main shrine hall. Made from natural camphor wood, the gate stands approximately 16 meters tall, with the main pillars having a circumference of about 10 meters!
Every evening, the gate is illuminated, offering a magical nighttime view that contrasts beautifully with its daytime appearance🌃.

During high tide, the water level rises and surrounds the gate, creating a truly mystical atmosphere.
