Free Huizhou Garden One-Day Tour Guide

Hefei Huizhou Garden was established in 1999, and there used to be a 10 yuan entrance fee.
Back then, I was still in college and visited once.
In 2021, a new renovation started, with walls removed to open up greenery, allowing free access.
It’s basically a large park now, with added coffee shops, restaurants, and more.

📍 Address: No. 276, Fanhua Avenue, Shushan District, Hefei
🎫 Ticket: Free!
🚇 Transportation:
Take Metro Line 3 to "Fanhua Avenue" Station, exit 2, then about a 10-minute walk.
Bus 602/105 and others to "Huizhou Garden" stop.

The entire park is like a miniature map of Anhui Province.
Now it has a more commercial vibe.
Great spots for check-ins and photos.
Huizhou Garden looks even more serene and beautiful in autumn.

➊ "Huangshan Garden" - Popular Center Spot 🏔️
At the entrance, there’s an ancient-style stone arch and a "Huangshan" stone carving. Inside, there are rockeries, waterfalls, small pavilions, and some tables and chairs where you can sit and chat comfortably.
➋ "Chizhou Garden" - Most Beautiful Buddhist Zen Corridor 🙏
The Jiuhua Sacred Realm and the red wishing corridor here are the highlights! Great for solo shots or group photos.
➌ "Anqing Garden" - Classic View of Zhenfeng Tower 🎑
This tower is very photogenic. I took pictures from the bridge opposite, giving a strong Jiangnan (South Yangtze) vibe.
➍ "Xuancheng Garden" - Like a Poetic Ink Painting 🌿
Huizhou-style architecture with white walls and black tiles, paired with stone paths and green bamboo in front. Perfect for detail shots like door frames and window lattices, with clean composition and poetic charm.
➎ "Wuhu Garden"
Currently turned into a small zoo. You can’t enter without a ticket, but parents with kids can have fun here.
➏ "Bozhou Garden"
Feels like a time travel experience, with tall ancient-style city gates and a wine culture wall. Great for taking photos with an old-fashioned, story-rich atmosphere. However, Bozhou Garden is not open for entry; inside is a Huizhou merchant noodle shop where you can listen to opera while dining.

💃 Outfit Suggestions:
🧡 New Chinese style / Hanfu / Qipao: Perfect match with the park’s style! Prefer solid colors like white, dark green, or dark red.
🧡 Simple modern: Wearing black or beige long dresses or trench coats can also create a fashionable contrast for great photos.

✌️ In short, this garden is now very suitable for leisurely strolls, bringing kids, elders, or couples.
💬 The park has places to sit, coffee shops, toy stores, restaurants, clothing stores, and more, making it ideal for a relaxing visit.
