Autumn is definitely the time to come to Hefei for photos and check-ins! This charming autumn scenery is so beautiful you won’t want to leave. These hidden gems will definitely fill up your phone’s storage 🍂
📷 Private favorite autumn photo spots:
📍 Dashushan Forest Park (No. 8 Yulan Avenue, Shushan District)
The maple leaf avenue here is simply amazing, with golden yellow and fiery red intertwined. Every shot looks like a masterpiece. The best time to shoot is from 8 to 10 AM when sunlight filters through the leaves, creating a dreamy effect!
📍 Chaohu Luxi Wetland (Huanhu North Road, Huanglu Town, Chaohu City)
The reed marsh turns into a golden sea in autumn. Wear a light-colored dress and bring a straw hat for fresh, Japanese-style photos. It’s best to come between 3 and 5 PM when the lake surface turns pink under the sunset~
📍 Daishan Lake Scenic Area (Gucheng Town, Feidong County)
The birch forest is breathtaking in autumn! The ground is covered with golden fallen leaves that rustle underfoot. Remember to bring a bubble machine for photos—it makes for amazing shots. Weekdays are less crowded; mornings offer the best light.
📍 Baogong Park (No. 72 Wuhu Road, Baohe District)
The ginkgo avenue here is a nostalgic autumn memory for Hefei locals. The ground covered with golden ginkgo leaves is perfect for artsy photos. Wearing beige tones is recommended for a cinematic look.
📍 Botanical Garden (No. 35 Huanhu East Road, Shushan District)
The red leaf area has a wide variety, from maples to Chinese tallow trees, with rich layers of red. Don’t forget to bring a telephoto lens for close-ups. Wednesday afternoons are the least crowded, ideal for shooting unobstructed landscape photos.
🥮 Food recommendations:
After enjoying the autumn scenery, don’t miss Hefei’s seasonal autumn delicacies! Osmanthus sticky rice lotus root on Guanting Road is sweet but not greasy, the old-brand Sanhe rice dumplings paired with hot soy milk are very comforting, and the sugar-roasted chestnuts on the pedestrian street must be eaten hot~
