This autumn, I was captivated by Hefei’s golden ginkgo! Sharing my favorite photo route—few people, beautiful scenery, and free to enter, perfect for capturing cinematic autumn shots~

🍁 Hidden gem photo spots recommended
📍 Green Axis Park, Hefei Government District
Best time to see ginkgo: late October to mid-November
Not crowded on weekends. A whole row of golden ginkgo trees against the blue sky is stunning! Recommended to shoot backlit between 3-5 pm for a natural soft light filter effect 🌅

📍 Binhu Forest Park Autumn Zone
Best viewing period every November
Enjoy the double delight of maple leaves and ginkgo. Deep inside the park, there are reed marshes—wearing beige trench coats for photos creates a great atmosphere 🧥

📍 Old Library, Longhe Campus, Anhui University
Hefei’s most academic-feeling ginkgo avenue (enter from the west gate and turn right)
Golden ginkgo leaves fall on red brick buildings, naturally giving a vintage filter effect 📚 The campus is open to the public on weekends

📍 Ginkgo Avenue, Science Island
A secret spot with few people and beautiful scenery! Tall ginkgo trees line both sides of the road
Recommended to visit on weekdays. The ground covered with golden fallen leaves is perfect for casual shots 🍂 The modern research buildings on the island are also very distinctive

📍 Luzhou Park Sunshine Lawn
Not only ginkgo groves but also vast fields of pink muhly grass
Great for shooting girly autumn portraits 💕 Suggested outfit: light-colored sweater + beret

📸 Photography tips:
1. The light is softest before 10 am and after 3 pm on sunny days
2. Bring artistic props like an English book, coffee cup, or violin
3. Wear warm colors like camel, off-white, or brick red for the best photos
4. Use ginkgo leaves in the foreground with a blurred background for depth

🍂 Best viewing time:
This year the ginkgo turned yellow especially early! Starting to yellow in late October
The golden scenery is expected to last until the end of November~

🍜 Food and shopping guide:
After shooting, I recommend dining at nearby Zhengda Plaza (Government District) or MixC Mall (Swan Lake)
Highly recommend Xiaolongbao at Tongqinglou and the full black milk tea set at Kawangka!
