Dagu Glacier

Dagu Glacier is very spectacular, but you need to carry an oxygen bottle with you.

Drive to the left after entering the parking lot to get closer to the scenic area entrance.
Buy tickets online in advance (over CNY 300, including scenic area tickets, sightseeing bus, and round-trip cable car), and enter directly by swiping your ID card. Then take the scenic area sightseeing bus for about 40 minutes to the cable car.
There are scenic spots along the way when taking the sightseeing bus. It is recommended not to get off the bus on the way up, and take the cable car to the glacier first to avoid queuing. You can visit the scenic spots on the way back.
There are 5 scenic spots on the way back. If you are not interested, you don't need to get off the bus.
The cable car ride takes about 15 minutes. The altitude span is large, so it is recommended to take oxygen earlier. We didn't take oxygen in advance, and we felt very uncomfortable when we got up. There are 8 seats in a cable car. When we went there, there were not many people, so my husband and I took a cable car.
Transportation: We drove by ourselves, and we also saw chartered cars and tour groups.
Tips: It is very cold on the glacier, so you need to keep warm, wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from strong light, wear anti-slip shoes to prevent slipping on the ice, and carry an oxygen bottle to prevent altitude sickness (we had severe altitude sickness, and the acupoints on the back of our heads were very painful. We saw many people taking oxygen, but it seems that some people didn't need to take oxygen).
