Qushan Island (also known as Daqu) is located 27 kilometers northeast of Gaoting Town, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. It covers an area of 59.94 square kilometers and has a population of 70,000. Anciently known as Daqu Mountain, Qu Mountain, or Ku Mountain, Guanyin Mountain offers the most scenic views on the island. At 314 meters, it is the highest peak in Daishan County. Its intertwined peaks resemble a lotus flower. Legend has it that Guanyin Bodhisattva resided here for three years before going to Putuo to cultivate her Taoism. Qushan Island boasts 3 square kilometers of salt fields, making it one of the main production areas of "Dai Salt." Tourists can admire the spectacular salt fields along the central coast of the island. A canyon stretches eastward, with two mountains facing each other in a continuous, undulating landscape.

Tiantu Fishing Village
Tiantu Fishing Village is located on the east side of Qushan Island, facing Huangzeyang and across the sea from Shulang Island. The village has 95 seagoing vessels and an annual output value of 140 million yuan. The village has a beautiful environment and simple folk customs. It is a municipal civilized village and a municipal well-off community. This year, the village committee invested 3 million yuan to build a leisure fishery base (mainly fishing), fishing homestays, "Fisherman's Wharf" seafood cuisine and other tourism and leisure projects.
Liangzhi East China Sea Fishing Village
Liangzhi Village is located in the north of Qushan Island, facing the Huangze Ocean. The houses in the village are built on the mountain and face the sea. There are 30 fishing boats going out to sea. The village has a beautiful environment and simple folk customs. In recent years, the village has vigorously developed tourism. Tourists have praised the beautiful environment and fresh air. The characteristic attractions currently built include: Jiang Taigong Fishing, Wanghai Pavilion, Iron Chain Bridge, and Windmill Viewing Platform.

After visiting Qushan Island, you can take a ferry back to Zhoushan City. From there, buses, taxis, or private car services are available for further travel to nearby attractions like Putuo Mountain or Shengsi Islands.
